Task

The Steigenberger Grandhotel on the Petersberg in Koenigswinter is 2019 once again placed host to the ‘Tacheles Talkrunde’ and ‘Petersberger Treffen’ discussion sessions. As a full-service provider, Braehler Convention took care of all conference and event technology for the two-day event, which was attended by over 800 people.
Our specific services were: Sound engineering, lighting, video technology, conference technology and interpreter technology.

Our specialist staff were on site on both days to assist with setup and dismantling, and to provide professional service at the ‘Petersberger Treffen’ and evening event.

Special features

  • Multiple parallel setups in different rooms, including various discussion sessions with numerous participants, interactive live voting, round table conference with several microphones, and translation/interpreting equipment
  • Tight schedule, as setup and the evening event were held on the same day
  • Integrating technology into the hotel’s existing setups (stage etc.)
  • Live camera image for broadcasting into the different rooms, and many different presentations

Solution

In the lead-up to the event, Braehler Convention developed a detailed schedule and associated equipment plan, which was devised in close consultation with the customer. During the event, Braehler’sspecialists ensured all conferencing and event equipment functioned flawlessly and coordinated perfectly, and took charge of integrating these into the programme.

Benefits

All technical services were implemented by Braehler, so as to ensure the entire technical process went smoothly. This particularly meant there was no need to coordinate additional service providers for the customer, which can end up being complex and time-consuming.
